This Icon is egg tempera and gold leaf on antique wood panel measuring 40cm x 40cm approx..
The painting is based on a 14c (circa 1350 - 1360) from Constantinople. In the Byzantine Museum, Athens. The cryptogram held by the Archangel interprets as "Christ the Righteous Judge".
